ГЕОГРАФО-ГЕНЕТИЧЕСКИЙ ПОДХОД К ПОСТРОЕНИЮ ЛЕСОТИПОЛОГИЧЕСКИХ КЛАССИФИКАЦИЙ

The paper deals with the main aspects of a genetic approach to the construction of forest-typological classifications that should reflect the spatial-ecological differentiation of forest growing conditions and restoration and age dynamics (morphocenogenesis) of forest communities combined into forest types. A scheme of interrelationships between ecotopic, phytocenotic, biogeocenotic, forest-typological, and landscape-geographical taxa from elementary ones to complexes of taxa in the altitudinal zonality in mountains is given. The possibilities of mathematical processing the materials of forest fund inventory for determining the dynamics of forest communities combined into forest types are shown. Classification of the forest cover and revealing of its temporal dynamics creates the basis for the optimization of the species composition of a forest fund and sylvicultural systems of forest management.
