The structure of natural uneven-aged Betula ermanii stands is considered using a complex of taxation characteristics. The calculation of a modified function for the distribution of the characteristics according to diameter class was shown using sums of values for crown projections and ages. The calculation of this function is proposed to quantify the degree of variation of taxation characteristics in the course of growth and development of natural stands.
