A gene flow from southern Scots pine populations to northern ones due to the transfer of seeds for artificial reforestation is shown. The data on survival and height growth of 13-year-old spontaneous Scots pine hybrids in test plantations are presented. The pressure of the natural selection and its effects are discussed.
